Well Emma wrote "update your blog" on my facebook page so I am. I am currently of sick after being diagnosed with Crohns and having a really bad flare up. I am struggling to come to terms with my lack of ability to do normal things just now and the waves of tiredness that hit me and floor me. I am eating but having to keep a food diary. My life is totally upside down and then there is the steroid treatment that means I am up every 2 hours wide awake. Oh the joys!

I have not put any photos of New York up as I think I look to thin in them, however here are a couple.

Oh my it was amazing. 4 adults and 3 little boys having a fantastic day out. Struans favourite bit was going on a boat. I loved the sea lion show.

Tonight I am making bunting for baby Ellen. I am going to make a dress for my brothers wedding but I am building up to that project. I have been hemming jeans and I am now happy enough with my lovely new Janome machine that I am going to make bunting then a new nursery bag for Struan.

Sometimes when you are 3 you must just have a mad half hour to wind your mummy up. Struan has just been put to bed as he had lost the ability to behave. First he took my contraceptive pill (only 1 before I caught him), then he tipped my work bag over the living room floor and while I was trying to tidy that up he put 2 dvds in the dvd player jamming one in it. I have now sorted my work bag and used tweezers to get dvd out of the player. Raging though as he did it because my friend phoned and took my attention of him.

Hooray its Friday - what a productive day! Cleaned outside of windows - actually worked out how to tilt and turn then which is great. I had a discussion for a consultancy position for a company today and it looks like it is probably going ahead. it has been hopeful for months but this looks like it is actually happening now. My council tax is all sorted out at long last so its all coming together.

I have been trying to set up my overlocker but I am to tired to thread the tiny holes which need super concentration also to tired to iron! I have just watched Ugly Betty and covered Struans table in Apple print oilcloth. I have promised to do it for him for weeks but thats it done now.

Tomorrow is swimming then hopefully over to Edinburgh to see Lanna and baby Ellen. No photos tonight as to sleepy to be bothered. I started reading Stephaine Meyer - The Host last night but it was not ringing my bell so off to read some more to see if it will grow on me.

These are my beautiful flowers that arrived at my office on Thursday. Just in the nick of time as I was really fed up and they reminded me what is important. Struan also got a parcel of Pixar DVDs with all his favourites in it. At the minute he is in to Toy Story and LIGHT BUZZ YEAR is his hero! Very cute!

He is off to daddys today and I am going to the Kirkcaldy crop which I am really looking forward to. Anyone interested in purchasing the Scarlet Lime June Kit from me please get in touch.

Oh today was fun. Had a pain in the neck morning dealing with paperwork and unreasonable people. I got back to the office and SI, Scarlet Lime kit and another parcel had arrived. NOT the sewing machine! It was a boxed Disney Pixar set for Struan from one of out friends. Struan was so excited and we started at the beginning with Toy Story. I was on ebay tonight and purchased a new handbag.

It is a bargain as I got it much cheaper than the shop and its brand new. I did go to the shop in Edinburgh last week to buy this bag but they were sold out so it is an investment!

What a beautiful day it was today the sunshine was splitting the skies. Struan and I went to football class then down the glen for a play. We ended up going up to see Emma and Ethan in the afternoon. My sewing machine has not arrived yet and now they are saying next Tuesday which is really annoying me as I have loads of stuff I want to do and I can't get on. I made 2 fabric hearts by hand. A blue one and a pink one for baby Rennies baby box. Baby Rennie is due anytime now. Ahh its 810pm and Struan is not playing the going to bed game. Not helped by Andy Murray match running right over bedtime. I will finish with this photo of the beautiful material I bought on ebay, Used it already so its a bargain!

Ha ha ha - Its braw isn't it, but it is waterproof. Debi has not seen them yet and will probably sack me as Director of waterproofs when she sees it!

Todays little projects is making a baby blue and a pretty pink fabric heart - one for a boy and one for a girl. One will go in Baby Rennie baby box when it makes its appearance over the next few weeks.

As some of my friends know I have started a patchwork class. I am loving it. I have some photos of my first 2 patches which I will pop up tomorrow. I am enjoying the hand sewing but I really want to start dress making too. I have my mums Vintage brother machine but it is not great so i have invested in a new electronic super duper machine. I already have a pile of stuff from friends which needs hemmed so hopefully the machine will arrive this week and allow me to get started. i have a list of things I want to create so very excited.
On the domestic front Struan has a nasty allergic reaction which has rendered him the blotchy boy on the block. Its a wee shame but will hopefully pass soon.

No photos in this post just some random chatter. Today the weather is hot hot hot already and its not even 8am yet. Stru, Caradog and I are going to walk to Asda and get some squeezy yogarts for the small boy who loves them so much. I think we might go to the beach for a wee paddle. This afternoon I have an event on so Stru is going with Em to Beveridge Park to feed the ducks. Tonight I am going to the movies with my friend. Hopefully I will get some photos done later.

I am having just now. Struan is amazing and we are settled into our now home so well. Struan is going to the nursery at the top of the hill after the summer holidays and we are so lucky to live in such an amazing area. I have amazing friends in my life. Yesterday Stru and I had a great day - football class - playing with the train set - pizza hut then off to the childrens farm. One of my friends met us for a coffee at the farm and we had a lovely relaxing afternoon.

I am making a Ruby wedding album for a friends parents at the minute and it is beautiful. I am off to see her shortly to finalise the placing of the pages and how she would like the journalling done.

My beautiful cat Mulan had to be put to sleep today. I loved her so much when life was really tough she was always there for me. It was a shock as I thought the vet could help her but the cancer was though her so much that he could not help her.

Then I got home and XOH was his usual aggressive and intimidating self. That all ended badly but I was so upset and really did not need him being so unreasonable about things I am asking to protect my son.

They are a nightmare and my 4 months of hassle eventually turned into this:

When they fitted the bathroom they had neglected to connect the waste pipe from the sink so all the water has been going onto my kitchen ceiling and then down the back of my wall to my downstairs neighbour! however today we had the plumber, electrician, tiler and plasterer here and things are still a bit of a mess but better that they were. Tomorrow the plumber returns to fit the shower and shower doors all spanking new as the emergency plumber smashed it off on Friday.

As for creativity - I am making party bag name tags and thank you cards as this little boy is 3 on Sunday.

A party is planned and hopefully it will be sunny so I can pop them outside.

I have also set up my mums sewing machine and bought some material as I am wanting to learn to make things!!! Fear of the sewing machine has stopped me plugging it in but I will do it soon.

Off to watch Shameless.... Love it!!

I was dreading today - P60s PAYE return to do and a meeting with my biggest client to sort out the account and what they owe me. It all went well so thank goodness thats over. I was also working on Struans birthday party. It is going to be at his dads house as I had decided on a birthday tea but his dad wanted a party. It is for Struans friends and I refuse to let it turn into a circus. 15 little 3 year olds invited so hopefully it will be fun. When asked what games he wanted Straun said "Pin the tail on the naughty Kangaroo" and "High School Musical Bumps". Oh that is sooooo cute.

I am currently working on a butterfly tree for my friend Lanna who is having a baby in June. I am meant to be seeing her on Saturday to take Struan to Leith Links to an outside event called parents like us which is aimed at under 6's. Hopefully the rain and freezing wind will be glorious sunshine by then.

Hooray for Monday holidays. I popped Struan into nursery so I could have a day just for me. First stop was the office to prepare for tomorrow (I don't work a Tuesday) . Then Asda for some milk and pasties for my breakfast. Then do some more work and then off to bed to chill and watch Ashes to Ashes on my laptop. I love it and had not seen any so far. I then had a wee sleep and walked Caradog. I then did some more work bits and picked Struan up from nursery. He is having visits to Pre-school and had been there most of the day so was in tiredness melt down by the time we got in. He is now in bed. I have been uploading some bits to sell on ebay and I am about to start cutting out some chipboard shapes for Lannas Nursery tree. I did some photos with Struan last week for his Pre-school folder - OMG where did he learn to smile like that!!!

Easter Surprises

Hobbycraft has opened in Edinburgh so Bex (http://beckiedreyer.blogspot.com/) decided to take a trip. True to form when Bex and I take a road trip we have a problem. We got a flat on the Edinburgh City Bypass. We had 3 children in the car and I am delighted Struan was not one of them. Trying to get Stru to stay on the little hill would have been a nightmare. Anyway we got the girls out the car and away from it and my suggestion to fix the problem was to phone the AA. However Bex just changed the tyre - 10 minutes flat ! She was amazing!

Came back at lunchtime to pick up Struan from his fathers. Struan has Chicken Pox and I am now about to be trapped in the house with him for days! On a positive note he does not have many spots but he is not used to being in the house a lot as I always keep him very busy. I gave him Piritin Syrup tonight and it made him wild!

A big ship

came to visit Edinburgh this week. It is called Logos Hope and travels the world spreading hope and education. It is staffed by people who pay to be there. It is a giant book shop and is amazing. Struan walked up the gangway and round the boat. he had a great day.

After the boat we went to Ocean terminal for some retail therapy but did not shop. I decided to go to Sainsburys as they had 25% of clothing and their jeans for children have adjustable waists which fit skinny Struan a treat. All the old short and misfitting trousers have now been chucked and we have swanky new ones.

All prepared for Easter with all my little baskets make and filled. I will post photos on Sunday once they have all been delivered.

recently due to lack of childcare so very little social life. I did this LO at Kirkcaldy crop.

It was all old stash except the title which was a prize for the easter egg hunt at the crop. The weather has been surprisingly good here recently and Stru and I went of a daffodil hunt.

You have to admire his fashion sense! He was in his bag looking for stuff, sitting right in the middle of the road. His clothing was dictated by the bad potty training week we were having due to having a bad cold and bruised foot.

Busy busy

I have been manically trying to get the house organised and I am eventually seeing light at the end of the tunnel. I spent hours and hours and hours organising stash this week.

I am eventually at a point where I have given away the stuff I don't want or need and all my stash is easily accessible. I have also bought a new BIG desk! That is a treat but already I am loving it. I am currently working on painting a blown egg for the Kirkcaldy crop on Saturday. I have already dropped it and nearly cried as it has a wee crack, however hopefully acrylic paint will hold it together. I found 2 LOs that I did at the February crop when I was tidying.

Since we have moved into our little house the poor Cara Dog has no escape from Struan and his evil 2 year old ways, however she also sneaks upstairs to sleep on his bed if I leave the stair gate open.

Looking at the above photo you would not believe that this is the naughtiest dog and child in Fife!
I am getting my nails done tomorrow thank goodness I need to feel glam! Nails do it for me! Bright Red unchippable Calgel - you can't beat it to make you feel great.

What a fantastic result for Dunfermline Athletic Football Club. They beat Aberdeen on Wednesday night in Aberdeen. The match went to extra time and then penalties - which we won 4 -2. This a fantastic result and takes us into a semi final against Falkirk (our derby team who we don't like very much) on 26th April at Hampden. I am delighted with this result and the atmosphere at the training ground is amazing. I have done some tweeking with this photo in PS Elements and Struan is wanting it for his wall!

Today was busy...
we had football class then we went to South Queensferry for a walk/crab hunt/picnic on the beach. Then we came home and made Easter cards, watched Elf (we watch Elf everyday!) then off to my laundry to prepare some under armour for tomorrows match. Then off to shop then the football club and Stru went to Daddys at 4.30pm. I then went back to the laundry to finish off the stuff for tomorrows match. The match is a cup replay against Aberdeen at Pitrodrie. Sky paid each club £82,500 or there abouts to show the match. Thats outrageous! After work I went to Ikea to get and Expedit and an Expedit desk. I was on my own and managed to get it in to my car on my own. It is still in my car as I can't get it into my house but I have a man coming to build it tomorrow and I will get him to help me. Chilling now waiting for CSI and Shameless.

It was pirate week at nursery and the kids raised over £500 for the RNLI. The kids had a great week learning about pirates and also had a pirates party.

At 11.30am this was the view from my front door. It was an amazing blizzard and I thought that was it snow for days. I had my friday planned - snowed in the house all day drinking hot chocolate and watching dvds all cosy however by 5.30pm this was the view from my front door. All sunny - however tonight it is freezing!

New Shoes

Stru had his new shoes on for the first time today. He is now size 8.5 which is big when you are 2.5 years old. He was absolutely delighted with them and even allowed me to do some cheeses!

Been to the Kirkcaldy crop today. I actually did 3 LOs and started a Christmas gift for a special boy in my life. Here is one of the LOs - I can't decide whether to add a stamped image to the top section or not?!? Will think about it tomorrow.

After the crop it was off to Emmas for a curry and then we watched Eastern Promise on DVD. Viggo was hot and naked in it! I enjoyed the film but it was a bit too violent at times.

Things I have done in the last month!

I moved house a month ago. The household is now Me, Struan, Caradog and Bingo(the hamster).

I have done so many new things:

1. Built Ikea furniture.
2. Started swimming regularly again.
3. Started taking a proper salary from my business.
4. Started walking to nursery.

The house is nearly sorted - waiting on BT putting in a phoneline and need to get my scrap space all tidy and beautiful. I can't believe how nice it is to be this unstressed with life.

Tonight I am childless so after work I am going for a swim and then off to meet some friends. Then its home for Brothers and Sisters on More4. I am going to sort out photos of my mum to scrap at the crop on Saturday.

Should it not be easy booking your child into Nursery

Fife council - OMG what a carry on. I have moved house and Struan is now out of the catchment area from hell (busing children miles to different school as inadequate school provision on a new housing estate) and booking him into nursery should be easy. Off I went to the school with proof of address and his birth certificate to fill in the form so he can get into the school 5 minutes walk from the house. What a joke - it might be his local nursery but because it feeds both the catholic and protestant schools. As it is the only catholic school in the town it is over subscribed with children from outside the area. Ahhh I now have to wait until April when the Gods of the council sit and decide if my 3 year old will get into his local nursery or if mummy will have to ferry him about Fife to where they decide to put him!

Curtains

I need curtains for my livingroom. I have 3 small window and I want 3 pairs of lined curtains. I went and picked fabrics today and got a quotes. As trained I got 3 quotes and OMG what a difference. My quotes range from £160 to £380. That is such a huge difference. I am going to order the £160 ones which is actually the shop where I got to touch and feel and discuss the curtains. I am now delighted with my £160 quote! They are holding the fabric until Tuesday for me so happy with that.

New House photos

Here is the kitchen - the rest will follow when I have more chat about the house. It is actually am amazing masionette and is so quiet and private. Stru loves his room and also we can see the park from our front door and can walk there everyday with the dog. I am enjoying being in the new house and having loads of fun with Stru and Caradog. I was given beautiful curtains by my auntie to try on my bedroom window and they actually fit perfectly! Now I need to work out what to buy and how to put up a curtain rail!

Mummy "Its a lollipop lady she helps the children cross the road."

From Spiderman to Rockstar

Stru and I had a good day today. We were swimming and then to McDonalds for lunch. After a wee snooze we watched Alvin and the chipmonks. Off we went to town after that for a coffee and to see if Stru needed new shoes. Stru did not need new shoes he has actually had these shoes since September which is amazing and very cost effective. First week down

and we are really busy - shop and cleaning so not being credit crunched yet! Very tired as not slept properly in 3 nights. I looked a mess at work today but my lovely staff kept me in coffee. I left early and took Stru to Kathellan. Kathellan is one of my favourite places to go. I love taking friends there as it is so beautiful and so much fun. Ha ha its nearly New Year and I have done nothing towards dinner preparation! No dinner bought! I have got my spray tan and some new clothes for my Karoke Party tomorrow night. Struan has a pressed party shirt too. I am working New Years day as the football team are training and they need me there to help! Hopefully I will only be in for 3 hours or so. Dinner will probably be Indian! My favourite!

Today was busy - I had a back massage first think then off to the Deer Farm at Cuper. Then it was off to Ceres to the pottery to pick up a couple of gifts te to the singing kettle shop for some fun and last minute shopping. When I got home I started sorting my triffle and made a test run Marie Rose sauce which was to bitter so needs done again. Here are some photos from the day:

No photos - i have lost the will to add another to do to my list. It is really difficult trying to do everything for Christmas with a 2 year old at my ankles. It is really difficult trying to do everything you need to to do while being hindered all the way on every front! I am grateful that I am not skint this year. Last year was terrible as my business was in a really bad place and I had no cash. Last Christmas eve I was in meetings with business advisor helping me to put the business back on track. I am still fighting with the bank to get monies they took in error. Banking Ombusman now helping on that front. Last year was terrible I did not eat on Christmas Day as I was so stressed. This year is so bright on some fronts and so blue on others. I am soooo busy with work and the wee man and trying to have some fun. Maybe some photos later if I get round to it.

little elf! Its the singing kettle on Saturday and Stru has to wear a Christmas outfit. So he is going as an Elf - Also his favorite film -bargin outfit at 6 quid from Asda. He was at Sammy the Tammys party on Sunday and got his first ever selection box and felt a Crunchie was the order of the day. I missed it all and he was with Daddy for the party then at nanas for tea. i arrived with Elf outfit which made him very happy to see mummy! Sammy the Tammy is coming to football class tomorrow so have washed his strip and charged the camera however just got text saying Sammy is poorly -Boo - Stru will be gutted!

At 10.15pm last night Stru got up and that was him until 2am. Granted he did sound croaky but he had it in his head he wanted to sleep with mummy. At 2am I relented and let him come in with me. At 6.30am he was up again ahhhhh. I was going to Kirkcaldy Christmas crop today and was do excited but did not think I would make it as Stru was a wee bit poorly and I was so tired. I decided to take a chance and go and if I needed to come home I would. I went and it was fantastic. WELL DONE!!! to all the girls who organised it as it was amazing and so much fun. I did scrap and I made Struan an advent calender.

Isn't it beautiful? All the little drawers are filled with either chocolate buttons or dolly mixtures and number 24 will have a surprise in it. Thanks Bex for patiently sitting beside me and guiding me through this project.

I told Vicki that I was going to make a Doodlebug house and never got it done so here is a photo of the Maya Road Bungalow I made last weekend. I will get the Doodlebug house done before Christmas along with the 5 calenders, CJ and ornaments I am doing!!!

for a night out with my mummy friends. Lovely Lesley is watching Struan so he will be a happy camper. I have just been looking at the menu and my mouth is watering. I am not having a starter as I will not eat my main course if I do. There are 5 off us going and we will not stop talking from the minute we sit down. Lesley asked what time I would be home and the only answer I could think of was when we get chucked out at closing time. Nails painted just need to get some slap on when I get home from work. Off to finish the invoicing and chase the nutters who think my service is free!!

My life is a whirl wind and its so busy its amazing. To add to it my son is so wonderful. He is 2 and a half and so much fun. He is so funny, switched on and never stops talking. I am not a baby person and I struggled to bond when he was tiny. I found being a mum to a baby really frustrating and unrewarding. being a mum to a toddler is fantastic, I love spending time with his and doing lots of fun stuff. Today we were at playgroup, Twinkly Stars and the the dance show. We never had the tv on or toys out all day we just played imagination games and it was wonderful. We also played "cheese" after tea and I got these lovely shots.

I just came on to update my blog and I was signed in as Bex with full access to her blog! I signed out immediately as I am sooo good. It did make me smile!

What a week I am having. I returned from my holidays on Monday and went straight to work before picking up - a very happy to see mummy - Struan. On Tuesday Stru and I had great fun. We had football class, then swimming , the McDonalds, off home for a quick sleep then off to Dobbies then Frankie and Bennys for tea. What a great day we had. Today has been work then the toddlers Christmas fayre which was really good fun. I could have spent a fortune on cushions - They were stunning - I will visit this ladies site and I think I will have to invest in some.

Thursday is off to the laundry then the shop then toddlers at 9.30am! After that we are taking Great Auntie Margaret food shopping before Twinkling Stars and at night Stru and I are off to see cousin Sophie in her dancing show.

Friday is a day at work for me and a day at Bex house for Stru. Girls night out on Friday night which will be great fun and probably very very late. Lovely Lesley is watching Stru so he will be happy with that!

Then on Saturday its the Kirkcaldy Christmas crop and its going to be a beauty! I have been reading all the fun and games that are planned and all I can say is you go girls and what an amazing job you are doing. There are 30 people going to the crop which I think is the biggest yet.

Sunday is Socatots and a 3rd birthday party and then its Monday again.

I can't believe how busy this week is and that it will be December so soon...Christmas is nearly organised except for the person who has everything ! you know who you are! Todays special mission was to track down Peppa Pig briefs! Peppa pig does loads of stuff for girls but this actually proved difficult...Well done NEXT!

Hopefully these will make a small boy very happy. Santa has already started wrapping gifts in this house as Small boys get sooooo much! I keep finding bits I forgot I had bought for him. Struan is really getting into Christmas and is demanding Christmas music in the car! Its lovely as he sings along and that is so cute. I am so lucky to have such a fun little boy.

My team "Slinky Pink Scrappers" is in Cumbria on a weekend retreat. I can't tell you where as Emma told me a post code and Tom Tom did the rest. The house/converted barn are amazing we have 8 bedrooms and I am in luxury with a giant double bed to myself. The facilities are fantastic and last night we were able to scrap and watch Strictly...x factor as we worked.

Everyone is having fun. I have made a Christmas wall hanging, about 20 Christmas cards and a mini book. Today I am making acylic calenders for some family members and Bex is teaching a Rusty Pickle class. I would also like to say I love my SLICE!!! Alison cooked before she came and the food has been amazing. I will add photos later as I don't know where Bex camera is. I might even venture outside today.

I got this photo on Struan emailed to me this morning. What a poor we lamb he looks. Must have his mummys I don't do cold and wet gene!

Holidays

I go away with my friends for the weekend tomorrow - the car is packed ready for Em, Bex and I to head off to Cumbria for the weekend to meet our other scrap friends. How organised am i ...... not very. I have packed my stash and I think the phase I am looking for is overpacked my stash - it is however very organised over packed stash. I have not added clothes yet! There are 3 off us and all our stash and luggage going in my Mini Clubman...it is not huge...I think I may have overlooked this! I have been out all day and now I am in looking for the instructions on where we are going and surprise surprise I can't find them. Am I panicing?? NO I have passed the buck to the others!

Ahhh I have to be at work tomorrow at 8am and finish at 2pm just in time to get Em of the Kirkcaldy train, I have the wages to process tomorrow evening when I arrive and then hopefully I will have a chilled out stress free weekend. I have left a list of Struans activities for the weekend so hopefully he will be fine.

I hope everything fits in the car!!

What your two Christmas is confusing! Struan had his daddy bonkers tonight when he demanded a mince pie then throw himself around the floor when he was presented with one. He was going wild and daddys voice was getting louder! Off I went to supervise - oh my a screaming 2 year old mid tantrum and a very stroppy daddy. What was the problem? Struan thought a Satsuma was a mince pie - It took mummy 2 seconds to sort out! Mummys ROCK!

I have gutted my stash to decide what I can take down South next weekend. Oh my I need to take so much. I have spent 1 hour 45 minutes sorting it out. That is really intensive. I was at Craft at home in Blantyre today and made some purchases. I bought some doodlebug and Daisy D christmas bits, a K & Co Swell Noel Christmas Tree and a beautiful Tim Holtz Stamp holder. I am organised for going away except I have to work on Friday - which is not good.

How exciting and what a great evening we had. Struan saw the sleigh arrive pulled by the lovely Cairngorm Reindeers with Santa on board. It was amazing. He loved it! We all went for a chinese and Aunt Lanna dropped the bomb shell that she is pregnant! Hooray! Baby due on 30th June and so happy!

On a really sad note I have turned on the TV and it is a documentary about disabled children and adults in Turkey and Romania. I am so deeply moved, it makes you want to do something. It is heart breaking and so grateful.

Do I take Struan or not - His daddy had volunteered to do the fireworks until he got a ticket for the Celtic v Man Utd match. I am such a non firework person and the thought of trying to get parked anywhere near the display, carrying a toddler or pushing the buggy through the crowds and then freezing! And he might not even like it. I don't think it is worth the risk until he is older! Thats that settled - I am not going. I might relent and watch it from Nanas front window! After the tears and snotters of Pumpkin carving it probably won't be worth taking him anyway. ( I sold the jumper to him by telling him it was a special pumpkin jumper).

Oh my I am in the office working on the Christmas Staff rotas! Ahh how freaky is that. It just comes rounds so quickly. Tomorrow I am setting up a wee Christmas scene at home and hopefully Struan will cooperate and have a wee Christmas photo taken to send out in Christmas cards. If he is uncooperative I can always bribe him with sweeties!

I am starting to get the wrapping started too. My plan is simple - get it all complete by the end of December! Simple in theory however reality is so much different. I have completed the shopping but I have now been roped into cooking and as yet I may not have Christmas day off as the football team may train. Total nightmare!!!

Here he is our little Bingo -Purchased for Struan but Bingo is so my hamster. I love him and he loves being handled. He has a super duper tubed cage thing which sports a play cage, a dining room and bedroom. Last night little Bingo boy pulled all the extra bedding from his play tube up to his bedroom, very impressed with the innovation show!

However my heating has packed in. Freezing! Had to go swimming with Struan today so we could get a wash and have a lovely hot shower. Waiting on heating engineer as I type. I have got hold of a oil heater thing but its not doing the job and I am frozen.

Off to Paterson SA in Edinburgh for a haircut tomorrow and so looking forward to it.

Nothing happening -I did find a spare couple of hours tonight to do some bits for me! I downloaded 2 albums on to my ipod - this was long overdue! I went on to Amazon and bought all 4 books in the Twilight collection as Bex says it rocks! I packed for the Kirkcaldy Crop tomorrow. I whizzed about doing washing and making the house lovely! I had to have a chat with Stru tonight as he bit a child today. I don't like the child. The child in question (which Stru told me as nursery won't) is a bully he is 6 months older than Stru and gives Stru a really hard time at a playgroup we go to. The child corners Stru and hits him. I have never seen Stru hit back but today the child obviously really annoyed him. ha ha Stru must have mummys temper which is very long however when I lose it - Its really bad!

Busy week

What a week. I have not stopped. I was at an amazing show at Kirklands Community High in Methil on Wednesday. It was a production of the Queen musical - we will rock you. It was amazing, the kids are so talented and so is their music teacher (my friend Alison)!

Struan has had his usual busy social life of football, playgroups, swimming and singing, its now the October holidays here so some of his stuff will stop for 2 weeks.

I have organised some stuff for tomorrow. Its off to Edinburgh for Struan and I - we have to deliver an engagement present and 2 birthday gifts. He will then spend some time with Auntie Lanna and I will chill.

I have been in work since 7.30am and I have had staff in since 8.30am. I kid you not one of my staff just does not EVER stop talking. She just talks all bloody day! She is finishing at 12.30 and I so can't wait. I need some peace and quiet. I have done the wages, invoicing, customer calls and now I am on to the car insurance - Yawn.

Had one of those mornings, when I woke up I was not thinking very straight. Off I went the Strathspey Railway with Struan. He was hyper about going on a Thomas Train. I was so keen to get loads of great photos for scrapping however it went very wrong. I took about 3 photos at the Station and my battery went.... not for the first time. Thats the only thing with my Canon is I can't work out when the battery is low. Its charging now ready for horse riding and reindeer farm.

The sun is shining in the Highlands.

I was ice skating at Elgin Ice rink this morning. I had fun but I can safely say Struan hated it! He had on bob skates and looked so cute. He lasted about 2 minutes on the ice. I however did alot of skating and will no doubt suffer tomorrow as my legs are still sore from mountain biking and have not seen that much action in a long time.

I was at The Craft Boutique in Elgin today. It is a fantastic shop that I get to visit annually. I needed a new trimmer. I had a carl one and hated it, I had a x-cut one and hated it. So off I went today to but a trimmer with a huge trimmer budget. I asked for a recommendation from the shop owner and she said "the red one". The red on turned out to be a Woodware one and was cheap as chips at £14.99!! I love it and it measures in bot cm and inches (BONUS!!).

On the way back from Elgin I stopped at Nethybridge to see my auntie and uncle. We had coffee in the garden as the weather was sunny and hot.

Then the daily swimming with Stru. I am shattered but have perfect peace tonight. John has a wee cold - MAN FLU! and is in his bed being poorly!!

Tomorrow is the best day. We are going on the Thomas Train, then the Reindeer farm (I love Reindeers!) then I get to go Horse riding.

Here is Struan feeding the ducks. He is absolutely delighted with his ducks. I am less delighted with him getting up 3 times a night and then at 5am wanting to feed the ducks. 20 times he was put to bed last night as he wanted to feed the ducks! Ahhh toddlers.

When he eventually went to sleep I did this, my week 3 challenge featuring Struan and Grandad.

Struan and I went to the Fun House with his Great Auntie Joyce this morning then had lunch at Dalfaber. We had to sleep this afternoon as we were very tired. Getting up at 5am is rubbish!. We then feed the ducks and went swimming.

Tomorrow its off to Elgin. I am taking Struan ice skating as they run a toddler session then its off to the craft shop for mommy to spend, spend, spend.

I am shattered Stru woke me up at 5am this morning. He went back to sleep but I never. I am now totally shattered. After a busy day at work I cam home with Stru. Stru was not in most co-operative mood and the dog who just barks to much - or maybe I am just really tired. I am not sleeping well, my head is buzzing with stuff I need to get done before we depart to Aviemore.

I have Stru organised (must remember to find and try on Stru and I's wellies). I am sort of organised. It works like this....pack all of Strus stuff and then poke in stuff for mummy until the case is full. I don't think I will have much with me. However the case is in hand. The scrap stuff is another story....A karen Foster tote bag, who am I trying to kid! I have a artbin too. I am finishing off projects and working on christmas stuff. I want to order the Teresa Collins Christmas stuff but I have millions of Christmas Stash to use before I will allow myself to order more.
